The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Greece Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter and Northgate Plaza Redevelopment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the applicants, Widewaters Group, Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., to demolish a portion of an existing commercial plaza and construct a new, freestanding, one-story, metal-frame and masonry Wal-Mart supermarket, general merchandise store, and garden center (146,000 ± square feet); construct a new, freestanding, one-story, masonry McDonald's restaurant (4,058 ± square feet); and extensively renovate the remaining plaza buildings; with related parking, utilities, grading, and landscaping, on approximately 24.17 acres in a BG (General Business) Zoning District. The project is located at 3800 Dewey Avenue (Monroe County Route 132), approximately 700 feet north of Britton Road (Monroe County Route 101), at the northeastern corner of the intersection of Dewey Avenue and English Road in the Town of Greece, New York.
