Negative Declaration
Essex County - The Town of Chesterfield, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Port Kent Water Systems Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of new water supply wells, + 70,000 gallon storage tank, 4,000 linear feet of transmission main, 5,700 linear feet of distribution mains, a control building and an access road. The project is located on West Street, Lake Street, South Street, Sable Street, Lumber Street, Washington Street, Division Street, and Trembew Mountain Road in the Hamlet of Port Kent, Town of Chesterfield, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Franklin County - The Town Board of the Town of Chateaugay and the Town Board of the Town of Bellmont, as co-lead agencies, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Noble Windpark in Chateaugay and Bellmont. The action involves the construction, operation and maintenance of a 129 MW wind energy facility consisting of 86 wind turbines (72 in the Town of Chateaugay and 14 in the Town of Bellmont), along with associated access roads, electrical collection system and electrical substation. Each turbine will be approximately 400 feet tall when the blade is at the highest point. The project is located in portions of the Town of Chateaugay and Bellmont, New York.
