Dutchess County - The Town of Milan Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law # 8 of 2007 of the Town of Milan entitled Amendment of Zoning Map with respect to the LC and A5A Districts will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a rezoning of a portion of a single parcel, returning it to earlier zoning status following a review of the rezoning action in 2001 that prevented residential use of the property. The project is located in the Town of Milan, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Orange County - The Town of Monroe Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Vintage Vista. The action involves a request for subdivision approval and all other necessary land use approvals for a 28-lot subdivision on a 10.6-acre parcel in the URM zoning district. With the addition of subsidiary accessory dwelling units, a total of 56 residential units may be possible at the site as a result of the subdivision. The site is proposed to be served by public sewer service through Orange County, and central water to be supplied from the Village of Kiryas Joel. The site adjoins a parcel in the Village of Kiryas Joel that has been approved for a +151-unit residential development, which at least part of this site has already been constructed. A connecting road network, consisting of one through road and an access road that will constitute a cul de sac in the Town of Monroe but will provide access to an already-constructed multi-family site in the Village of Kiryas Joel, is planned to improve inter-municipal safety and access, and to avoid excessively long cul de sacs. The project is located on Mountain Road (CR 44) and adjoins the Village of Kiryas Joel boundary and the Town of Woodbury boundary.
