Project Description:

Applicant is proposing to remediate soil and sediments at the Former Bouchard Junkyard Site that are contaminated with PCBs. The proposed remediation activities will impact approximately 0.75 acres of Freshwater Wetland CA-4 by excavating and removing contaminated soils. Once contaminated soils are removed, the wetlands will be restored with clean fill and plantings will be installed. The Former Bouchard Junkyard Site is located on the north side of U.S. Route 20 immediately west of the intersection with Lovers Lane in the Town of New Lebanon, Columbia County, New York.
