Project Description: The Department of Environmental Conservation has approved a TRP application ( #4275) to allow the New York State Department of Transportation to repair a slope failure located on Spruce Creek above the confluence with Kaaterskill Creek by stabilizing a 150-ft x 40-ft high soil failure. The project is necessary to prevent further slope erosion and instability, which could lead to lane closures or the possible failure of Route 23A.
