Correction: A NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Notice of Complete Application was previously issued in the ENB on August 6, 2007 for a reissuance of an indefinitely extended permit for Cals Cottages, State Pollutant Discharges Elimination System (SPDES) # NY 012 0774 in Jefferson County. Inadvertently, the design flow on this facility was noticed at 11,700 gpd. The correct design flow is 3,600 gpd. The Notice of Complete Application should read as follows:

The DEC has received an application to renew SPDES # NY 012 0774, for Cal's Cottages in Jefferson County. This is a pre-existing Private/Commercial/Institutional SPDES permit.

DEC has made a tentative determination to renew this permit and set a standard five year term maintaining current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements. This permit involves the surface discharge of up to 3,600 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste into the St. Lawrence River, a class A stream.

Additional information including the current permit, renewal applications, and supporting documentation may be obtained from or inspected at the DEC central office in Albany. Substantive comments on the permit or requests for hearing or both must be submitted in writing to the contact person.

DEC seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance.
