Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Red Hook Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Voski Partners Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of a ± 18.614 acre parcel located in the RD5 Zoning District and the Scenic Corridor Overlay (SC-O) District into two (2) residential building lots ± 9.464 and ± 9.150 acres in size. The lots will be served by individual wells and septic systems and will be accessed from Kidd Lane. The project is located Kidd Lane, Town of Red Hook, New York.

Dutchess County - The Town of Poughkeepsie Planning Department, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wood at Cliffdale Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of a 56.34 acre parcel zone R-20 into 8 lots. Six new residential lots will be serviced by subsurface sewage disposal systems with Town water, private drives. One lot is to be combined with an existing parcel owned by the applicant at 8 Dallas Drive. The remaining lot being approximately 40.69 acres to be dedicated as open space. The project is located 244 Spackenkill Road, Town of Poughkeepsie, New York.

Ulster County - The Town of Marlborough Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Waterfront Park - Milton will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a re-development of a former industrial site into a municipal park. The project involves a subdivision to create three (3) parcels, one (1) parcel containing the existing Sewage Treatment Plant, a second (2nd) parcel, containing a historic train station, and a third (3rd) parcel, containing an existing industrial building which is proposed to be demolished creating a parcel for a Town Park. The existing multi-story structure is proposed to be removed through demolition of the building with all material proposed to be removed from the site. This parcel containing the structure is proposed to be re-developed into a public park. The parcel containing the historic train station, a structure which has recently been listed on the Historic Register, will be preserved and the train station rehabilitated for a use to be determined at a future date. The exterior of the structure is being rehabilitated, as well as structural integrity of the building shored up as part of the project. The project is located at the foot of Dock Road in the hamlet of Milton, Town of Marlborough, New York. The project is located between Dock Road and the CSX railroad tracks.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Rockland County - The Town of Clarkstown Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Hyenga Lake. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on September 26, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at the Clarkstown Town Hall, 10 Maple Avenue, New City, NY 10956. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until 10 days after the close of the Public Hearing. The action involves a seasonal bungalow colony which was formerly located on the project site. Many of the seasonal bungalows have been demolished, although several of the remaining bungalows had been upgraded and continued to be used. There are currently 28 bungalows remaining on site. The Project Sponsor, Hyenga Lake Development LLC., intends to remove all existing structures on the site, install the required infrastructure, and develop 80 units of multifamily housing in eleven, two story buildings in response to a continued demand for multifamily housing. The project is located on Pipetown Hill Road, Town of Clarkstown, NY 10959.
