Negative Declaration
Niagara County - The Town of Wheatfield, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Amendment to the Town's Comprehensive Plan and Amendment to the Town Zoning Code will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to address the need for neighborhood services, and an amendment to the Town Zoning Code to create a new zoning district (Rural Neighborhood Business District) that provides for carefully controlled areas for small-scale neighborhood commercial and/or mixed use development. The new zoning district is a floating zone (no specific location at this time) which is most likely to be applied in the Shawnee Road area of the Town. The project is located in the Town of Wheatfield, New York.
