The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Ontario County - The Ontario County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rochester Insulated Glass, Inc., 2007 Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of an existing industrial facility in a location zoned for industrial use and construction of a 70,000 square foot addition to an existing 125,000 square foot metal building. This new expansion will house various glass fabricating machinery for the manufacture of safety glass and hurricane impact glass. A total of 100 parking spaces are proposed for the project. The project is located at 73 Merrick Circle, Manchester, New York.

Positive Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Brighton Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Park Place / St. John's Community may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves an application to amend the December 15, 2004 incentive zoning resolution for property located on Elmwood Avenue in the Town of Brighton, Monroe County. The amended resolution proposes the construction of 112 senior living residential units with incidental facility management and residential community spaces as well as a 10,000 + square foot area for retail/commercial uses on 33+ acres of land at the same location. The amended resolution also includes an enhanced trail system with a connection through town lands and enhanced connectivity to adjacent lands. The project is located south of Elmwood Avenue and west of South Clinton Avenue, Town of Brighton, New York.
