Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct two grassed waterways to convey surface flows from two road culverts, that currently convey runoff overland through the open fields and into the Canajoharie Creek. The waterways will each be constructed approximately 1,000 feet long, with a top width of approximately 20 feet wide and approximately 1.8 feet deep and will discharge to a constructed outlet (rock chute or headwall) at the Canajoharie Creek. A small section of the waterway is to be constructed through a linear portion of Wetland SB-2, located at 143 West Ames Road in the Town of Canajoharie.
