Negative Declaration

Putnam County - The Town of Southeast Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brewster Plaza Amended Site Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the applicant, Vuksan Vataj, proposing to renovate an existing commercial site and internally subdivide for 5 proposed tenants in an office/retail building wiith accessory parking on a parcel of property. The project is located at 979-987 Route 22, Town of Southeast, New York.

Putnam County - The Town of Southeast Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Durkin Water Co. will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed improvements on 9.09 acres of property by the applicant, Durkin Water Co. The proposed action includes the replacement of one of the existing water tanks with a 493,500 gallon, aboveground water tank, as well as office and overnight parking of service trucks associated with two tenants. The project is located on Fields Lane, Town of Southeast, New York.

Ulster County - The Town of Ulster, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Ulster will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the creation of a new Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Ulster which includes recommendations for revisions to its land use policies to provide better protection to the environment. The project is located Town of Ulster, New York.

Westchester County - The Town Board of the Town of North Salem, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Clearwater Excavating Request for Zoning Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the petition form Gilbert Shott of Clearwater Excavating to rezone approximately 17.895 acres of land currently zoned R-1 One-Family Residential District to a new zoning classification to be known as CB - Contractor's Business District. The intention of this proposed action is to allow for limited commercial uses, including contractor's businesses, wholesale nurseries and landscape nursery and garden centers, and would allow for the existing non-conforming construction materials supply business, Clearwater Excavating, to lawfully expand onto an adjacent property currently under its ownership. The project is located along the north side of Hardscrabble Road, just east of the I-684 intersection in the Town of North Salem, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Orange County - The Town of Deerpark Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Deerpark Village. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on July 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Deerpark Town Hall. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until August 27, 2007. The action involves the proposal to develop a 243 acre parcel into a 1,518 unit Planned Residential Retirement Community. The project is located on Wilson Road, Town of Deerpark, New York.
