Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The Town of Byron, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Byron Water District No. 2 Phase IIa will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of plans to construct Phase IIa of Water District No. 2 in order to provide public water to residents along a portion of North Byron Road. The proposed improvements include the construction of 2,500 feet of 8-inch watermain along a portion of North Byron Road from NYS Route 237 to Searls Road. Activities include the installation of watermain, fire hydrants, valves, connections, residential hook-ups, excavation and bedding materials, and surface restoration. Water will be provided to Water District No. 2 Phase IIa by the Monroe County Water Authority. The project is located portion of North Byron Road, Town of Byron, New York.

Genesee County - The Town of Batavia, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Batavia Putnam and Shepard Roads Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of public water facilities along portions of Putnam Road, Francis Road and Batavia-Bethany Town Line Road. Approximately 3,700 linear feet of watermain will be installed. The project represents an extension of the Putnam-Shepard Water District as originally proposed by the Town in 2006. Residents in these areas are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located portions of Putnam Road, Francis Road and Batavia-Bethany Town Line Road, Town of Batavia, New York.

The action involves the installation of public water facilities along the portion of Wilkinson Road from 100 feet south of Lear Road to the railroad tracks. Approximately 1,100 linear feet of watermain will be installed. The project represents an extension of the Wilkinson Road Water District which was proposed by the Town in 2006. Residents in these areas are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located portion of Wilkinson Road, Town of Batavia, New York.

Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town Board of the Town of Webster, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Webster Community Center and Master Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 56,000± square foot community center and a master plan of the remaining land to provide for a future Town Hall and Police Department building. The proposed building will replace the current outdated 55,000 square foot building and will be on the same parcel of land. The existing building will be demolished at the end of the construction of the new facility. The project is located 985 Ebner Drive, Webster (T) New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Monroe County - The Penfield Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed North Penfield Crossroads. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on July 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Penfield Town Hall Auditorium, 3100 Atlantic Avenue, Penfield, NY 14526 . Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until August 6, 2007. The action involves the preparation of an Area Study for land uses, transportation and development potential for lands within ½ mile of the intersection of Bay Road, Empire Boulevard and Creek Street. A Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement has been prepared for this action and copies are available at the Penfield Town Hall (address below), Penfield Public Library, 1985 Baird Road, Penfield, NY and on the Town web site at www.penfield.org under the Planning Department. The project is located in the Town of Penfield, New York.
