The applicant proposes to add +/-35.6 acres to the Life of Mine (LOM) of their existing permitted +/-3.6-acre sand and gravel mine, to total +/-49.2 LOM acres. The expansion area mainly consists of a knoll which will be excavated to transition to the surrounding terrain, and reclaimed to undeveloped land. The existing mine, and the proposed expansion area is location on a 94.65-acre parcel owned by the applicant. No other changes to the method and rate of mining are proposed.
