Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The Town of Bethany Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 2007 Amendments to the Town of Bethany Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amendments to the Town of Bethany Comprehensive Plan pursuant to Section 272-A of the New York State Town Law. The project area includes the entire town of Bethany, NY. The amendments better address the development and concerns which have arisen or increased since the plan was first created, such as, the Genesee County Smart Growth Plan, Route 63 corridor study, new CAFO regulations and alternative energy sources. The project is located in The Town of Bethany.

Monroe County - The Village of Fairport, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Fairport Comprhensive Plan and Environmental Assesment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Comprehensive Plan for the Village of Fairport that will provide for the village's growth over the next 10 years or so. It will act as a context for land use decisions making and capital improvement planning, affecting all aspects of the village's environment and quality of life. Analyzed with an environmental assessment, the Plan will not replace the need for future detailed studies or site-specific environmental reviews; the Plan will be utilized to provide reference and policy guidance for subsequent analysis, as required by SEQRA. The project is located the Village of Fairport, Village Hall, 31 South Main Street, Fairport, New York 14450.
