Negative Declaration
Erie County - The Buffalo City School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Buffalo Public Schools: Phase III Modernization, Reconstruction, and Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves additions at nine (9) Buffalo Public Schools (Hillery Park Elementary, Bennett Park Montessori, Academy, The International School, Herman Badillo Bilingual Academy, City Honors School at Fosdick Masten Park, Riverside Institute of Technology, South Park High School, Burgard High School), District Wide Technology Upgrades and Energy Performance Contract work. Significant replacement, rehabilitation, and reconstruction is also planned including, updated HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing improvements, general interior refinishing, general exterior reconstruction, sidewalk curbing, stair renovations and other site work. Positive Declaration/Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing
Erie County - The Town of Amherst Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning and Development of 218 & 330 Maple Road may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement has been prepared. The Town of Amherst Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Rezoning and Development of 218 & 330 Maple Road. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. at the Amherst Municipal Building, 5583 Main Street, Williamsville, NY 14221. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until August 17, 2007. The action involves the rezoning and development of 33.326 ± acres of land from Residential District-Three (R-3) and Community Facilities (CF) to Multi Family Residential District-Six (MFR-6) and General Business (GB) for a mixed use development. The project is located 218 & 330 Maple Road, Town of Amherst, NY.
