Public Notice

Cayuga County - Please take notice that the City of Auburn, New York shall forthwith be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for operation of its municipal sanitary landfill in Auburn, New York. Entities or individuals wishing to submit a proposal may obtain a copy of the RFP by contacting the Auburn City Purchasing Department, 24 South Street, Auburn, New York 13021, Phone: (315) 255-4171. The cost of obtaining a proposal packet is Fifty ($50.00) Dollars in U.S. funds. Checks may be made payable to the City of Auburn Treasurer.

Take Further Notice that a copy of this Notice has been filed in the Office of the Auburn City Manager.

Negative Declaration

Cortland County - The State University, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New School of Education with Integrated Child Care Center will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 30,000 gross square feet addition and make renovation to the existing Cornish Hall on Campus. Site improvements include an outdoor play area, sidewalks and entrance plazas to the buildings; ADA access improvements, stormwater treatment facilities, site utilities, site lighting and plantings. The project is located atSUNY Cortland, Prospect Terrace, Cortland, NY.

Madison County - The Morrisville College Foundation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Commons II (New Dorm) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new 200 bed dormitory and 200 car parking lot. The project is located on South Street, Morrisville, NY 13408.

Onodaga County - The Onondage County Department of Transportation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed rehabilitation of 1.4 kilometers of North Street (C.R. 6) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rehabilation and reconstruction of North Street (C.R. 6) including pavement structure, shoulder width and drainage facilities, which are currently unable to handle both current and future vehicular demands. The project is located on C.R. 6 (North Road), Town of DeWitt, NY (between Route 173 and Rock Cut Road).

Oswego County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendment of Negative Declaration for Site Preparation, Oswego RA #3, Stand B-1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amendment of a Negative Declaration initially noticed in the Environmental Bulletin on January 31, 2007 for the above reference project. Revisions to the document have been made to reflect new information regarding the type of fern to be targeted for removal as well as applying only one of the two herbicides that were initially proposed to be used. The project is located in the Klondike State Forest, East of Tanner Road and South of Patchen Road in the Town of Amboy.
