Nassau County - The Board of Trustees, Village of Plandome Heights, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of a local law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a local law amending Chapter 35 of the Code of the Village of Plandome Heights with regard to animals. The project is located in the Incorporated Village of Plandome Heights, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS
Suffolk County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Coram Materials Wetland Rehabilitation and Expanded Pond Excavation. The action involves the expansion, for the purpose of extracting sand and gravel, of an existing 20-acre pond, which currently extends 25 feet below the groundwater table, to a 54-acre pond extending 100 feet below the groundwater table. The pond is located within a permitted sand and gravel mine. Upon cessation of mining, the project area will be rehabilitated to create an ecological habitat pursuant to the revised Wetland Rehabilitation Workplan and the pond will be made available for public fishing access. The project is located west of Miller Place - Yaphank Road and north of Whiskey Road in Miller Place, Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County. Suffolk County - The Town Board of Southampton, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed revision to the Town Code Chapter 330 Section 330-248A entitled, "Airport Commercial/Industrial Planned Development District". The action involves a proposed project intended to provide a Master Plan for more cohesive and coordinated development in terms of architecture, landscaping and site design. The Master Plan also provides for an overall design coordination of entrance and road connections. The project is located in Westhampton Beach, Long Island, New York. The Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement is available on the Town of Southampton website at http://www.town.southampton.ny.us.
