Project Description: The action involves the installation of a structure greater than 40 feet in height. The applicants propose installation of a wind-powered turbine to generate electricity to provide power to a previously authorized single-family dwelling (presently under construction) on the project site. The dwelling was authorized in Agency Permit 2002-198. The proposed tower is a 97-foot tall, guyed, 4.5-inch diameter monopole, with turbine blades that are 8.2 feet in diameter. The maximum height of the tower and blades is 101.1± feet. Approval of this project will be a material modification of Project/Permit 2002-198.
