Project Description:
Proposed development of 35 residential lots associated with extension of the Cardin Acres Subdivision. Road and stormwater basin construction, and clearing for six lots, would disturb 1.57 acres of the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland T-3 (class II). A 50 foot undisturbed buffer will be maintained between the wetland and lot clearing limits. The project is located to the south of Chateau Drive, east of Plant Road, Town of Halfmoon.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.
SEQR Lead Agency: Halfmoon Town Board
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A cultural resources survey has been completed. Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Jun 15, 2007.

Project Description:
Proposed hydraulic dredging of 675 cubic yards of sediment from Lake George, in the vicinity of an existing private dock. A silt curtain will be installed around the 90 by 120 foot dredging area, and material conveyed to geotextile bags on the applicant's adjacent upland for dewatering by passive filtration. The purpose is to achieve a water depth of four feet to allow safe dockage for boats. The project is located to the west of Pilot Knob Road, one mile north of NYS Route 9L, Town of Queensbury.
