New York State Public Service Commission
Notice of Public Statement Hearings on Noble Wethersfield Windpark's Proposal to Construct 5.5 Miles of 230 KV Transmission Line, a New Substation and Switchyard in Wethersfield and Orangeville, Wyoming County

The New York State Public Service Commission will hold public statement hearings, and otherwise invites public comments, on a proposal by Nobel Wethersfield Windpark,LLC to construct approximately 5.5 miles of electric transmission line from the Company's proposed wind energy facility in the Town of Wethersfield, to an existing transmission line north of the Windpark in the Town of Orangeville, Wyoming County. The proposed substation in Wethersfield will collect electricity generated at the Windpark. The proposed switchyard in Orangeville will connect the new transmission line to an existing transmission line owned and operated by the New York State Electric & Gas Corporation. The Company has also requested that the Commission grant a Water Quality Certification pursuant to §401(a)(1) of the Federal Clean Water Act, for activities related to construction of the proposed transmission facilities The application is under review pursuant to Article VII of the New York State Public Service Law in Case 07-T-0140.

Interested members of the public may provide their comments regarding these matters at public statement hearings to be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at:

All statements and comments received by the Administrative Law Judge and the Commission will be placed in the public case file and be made available for public inspection in the Commission's file room in its Albany offices.
