The applicant proposes to construct a new 28' X 44' single family residence with attached 24'X24' garage located approximately 37 feet from the wetland boundary of NYS Freshwater wetland RJ-3 and approximately 45 feet from the shoreline of Mariaville Lake. Additional work associated with the new residence involves a seasonal floating dock, drilled water well and minor site grading associated with the drive way, house foundation, and lawn areas within the 100 foot wetland adjacent area (buffer). To mitigate for wetland and buffer impacts only a small area of the approximately 524.36 feet of lake shoreline on the parcel is proposed to be cleared and maintained for lake access. The remaining shoreline and small upland wooded areas on the parcel will be left undisturbed to remain in a natural state. Said property is located at the terminus of the small peninsula at the end of Island Drive, in the Town of Princetown.
