Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Otsego County - The Town of Hartwick Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Rainbow Enterprises Hampton Inn Hotel Project. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on June 12 at 7:00 p.m at the Town Offices, Town of Hartwick, County Route 11, Hartwick, NY 13348. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until June 22, 2007. The action involves the turnkey construction of a 74 room Hampton Inn Hotel with parking lot and septic system adjacent to and on the same site of an existing 74 room hotel. The project is located at 4758 State Highway 28, Cooperstown, New York.

Rensselaer County - The Town of Brunswick Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Brunswick Meadows Planned Development District. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on June 14, 2007 at 6:00 p.m at the Brunswick Town Hall, 336 Town Office Road, Troy, NY 12180. The action involves a proposed condominium project consisting of 124 condominium units to be lcoatd in 31 buildings on 18.3 acres of land. The project is located on NYS Route 142 approximately 130' east of the Town of Brunswick and City of Troy municipal boundary.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Albany County - The Town Board of the Town of Bethlehem, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Vista Technology Campus. The action involves an application for development of a technology campus consisting of 1.4 million sq. ft. of floor area on 458 acres of land located in the Towns of Bethlehem and New Scotland. The bulk of the building space is proposed for research and technology / office use. Proposed secondary uses include a hotel, medical office building, general office buildings, a bank and a mix of retail uses and restaurants. Of the total acreage, 330 +/- acres are located in Bethlehem and zoned Mixed Economic Development District. The remaining 128 +/- acres are located in New Scotland and zoned residential R-2. Development will occur on approximately 150 acres of the site. The project sponsor has applied for Development Master Plan approval for that portion of the site located in Bethlehem and zoned MEDD, and for a zoning district and map amendment on that portion of the site located in New Scotland. Current zoning on the New Scotland portion of the site does not permit the proposed land use.The project is located on NYS Route 85 and NYS Route 140, Town of Bethlehem, NY.
