Project Description: The Department of Environmental Conservation is reviewing a TRP application to allow installation of water supply facilities in the Raquette Lake Water District #1 in accordance with an issued Department Water Supply Permit. The proposed facilities will be an upgrade to existing water supply facilities located on a one acre section of Forest Preserve land. The proposed upgraded pumps, water treatment plant and valve vault will ensure quality water and avoid public health and safety issues that could potentially be caused by inadequate water supply facilities. Construction activities will begin this summer and continue throughout 2007 and will take place along Sagamore Road in the Town of Long Lake. Comments will be accepted until May 24, 2007.

Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The Saratoga Springs Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lake Avenue Mixed Use Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a four-story mixed use building with mezzanine/terrace level above the 4th level. The proposed building includes commercial space on the first and second floors and up to nine residential units on the remaining level. The project will have on-site parking. The proposed action involves a special use permit and site plan review from the Saratoga Springs Planning Board and architectural review from the Saratoga Springs Design Review Commission. The project is located at 30 Lake Avenue, Saratoga Springs in Saratoga County, NY.
