Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.Opportunity for Public Comment:

The proposed action is the mining of gravel on 3.5 acres of land out of 64 acres owned by O. Frederick Hofmann. No material processing will occur at the site. The mined material will be used for the US Rte. 219 construction, which borders the mine site to the east. The estimated life of the mine is 2 years and the reclamation objective is agriculture. The project site is located on the south side of Zoar Valley Road, approximately 3,500 feet southwest of the intersection of Rte. 219 and Zoar Valley Road.
