Sediments have been tested and it has been determined that a Beneficial Use Determination (BUD) will be required by the Department's Division of Solid Waste. The dredged material will be dewatered as it is removed, loaded on trucks and transported to the Village's former gravel pit on NYS Rt. 70, approximately one mile southeast of the site. This material will be used in a reclamation plan for that gravel pit. The reservoir is located on Chidsey Road in the Town of Nunda.
