AND
NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF ISSUES CONFERENCE
PROPOSED WELL SPACING AND INTEGRATION OF INTERESTS

PROPOSED PROJECT: The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation ("DEC" or "Department") proposes to establish field-wide spacing and integration rules for portions of acreage located in the Towns of Van Etten, Erin, Elmira, Horseheads and Baldwin, Chemung County, New York, designated as the Langdon Hill Field (the "Field"). Pursuant to regulation, DEC staff requested a public hearing to allow all interested parties the opportunity to discuss the issues, and to facilitate a decision in the matter.
PUBLIC HEARING AND ISSUES CONFERENCE: A combined notice of a public hearing to be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel, 125 Denison Parkway East, Corning, New York 14830 and notice of a pre-adjudicatory hearing issues conference to be convened at the same location on Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at 9:00 a.m., was previously published in the October 20, 2004, issue of the Department's Environmental Notice Bulletin (ENB), as well as in the Elmira Star-Gazette. THIS PUBLIC HEARING AND PRE-ADJUDICATORY ISSUES CONFERENCE HAS BEEN CANCELLED and will be rescheduled at a future date. Notice of the rescheduled public hearing and pre-adjudicatory issues conference will be published in a future edition of the ENB, as well as the Elmira Star-Gazette.
PETITIONS FOR PARTY STATUS: Pursuant to the aforementioned notice appearing in the ENB on October 20, 2004, all petitions requesting party status to participate at the November 17, 2004, pre-adjudicatory issues conference and any subsequent adjudicatory hearing on this proposal were to have been received at the Office of Hearings and Mediation Services no later than the close of business on Wednesday, November 10, 2004. THIS DEADLINE FOR THE FILING OF PETITIONS FOR PARTY STATUS IS POSTPONED. A new deadline for the filing of such petitions will be provided in any future notice of public hearing and notice of pre-adjudicatory issues conference to be held in this matter.
