This graph from the Hudson River Environmental Conditions Observing System (HRECOS) shows daily peaks in dissolved oxygen levels due to photosynthesis in the river at Norrie Point. The Hudson River Estuary Program's Virtual River Visits workshops train teachers to use this system to build students' analytical skills.
