Wildfire Academy Accommodations

Hotel Information

The Crowne Plaza Long Island MacArthur Airport Hotel located at 1730 North Ocean Avenue in Holtsville has blocked off rooms for the Academy. The rate that has been extended to us is $105.00 for either a single or double occupancy room.

You can call them at (631) 758-2900. State that your are with the NY Wildfire & Incident Management Academy and will need to guarantee your room with a credit card.

Any cancellations need to be received at least 24 hours before the expected time of arrival.

Limited Dormitory Lodging

Limited Dormitory lodging will be available on-site for $33 per night. All reservations are made directly with BNL Housing office. Contact Celeste Tymann at BNL (631) 344-2541. Have a credit card available. They accept American Express, Visa and Master Card.

State that you will be coming for The New York Wildfire Academy.

Note: If you do not check in on the first night that you requested, you will be charged for that night. If you have a change of plans, please let housing know this ASAP. There is usually a very long wait list for these rooms.

After Hours: Housing Keys are to be picked up or returned to Police Headquarters, Bldg. 50.
