Annual Membership Meeting

This year's annual meeting will feature an exclusive presentation by Julia A. Reinstein, daughter of Dr. Victor Reinstein. Ms. Reinstein will share her recollections of Reinstein Woods when it was in her family's care. The meeting will also include the election of board members and the annual report on Friends of Reinstein Nature Preserve's (FORNP) activities. Refreshments provided. All FORNP members are welcome to attend, and prospective members are welcome to join at the meeting.

Summer Daze Ice Cream Social
Saturday, August 29, 2009 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM
Build your own ice cream sundae with Anderson's ice cream, and enter the door prize drawing to win a one-year supply of ice cream from Andersons! This event will also include nature movies for kids, decorating a bird feeder to take home (while supplies last), kid-friendly tours of the woods (every half hour) and mini-chair massages for adults. Tickets are $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children ages 3-12, and free for children age 2 and under. Tickets are available for purchase at the door only--no pre-sale. Chillin' with Chili
About 40 FORNP members gathered in February for some outdoor winter fun and some hot chili. Thanks to everyone who brought food for the potluck. Hope to see more of you next year!
