Vendors for Dry Cleaning Owner/Manager, Operator, Inspector Training and Certification

Please note that §232.14 of the NYS Perc Dry Cleaning Regulation provides that:

"...it is unlawful for any person to operate a [perchloroethylene] dry cleaning facility... unless: (1) the facility manager and/or owner has a valid dry cleaning owner/manager certification; and (2) the person operating the dry cleaning machine has a current and valid dry cleaning operator certification."

To obtain the required NYSDEC Owner-Manager and machine Operator Certificate(s) the owner and/or manager of each facility, and every person at the facility who physically operates the Perc dry cleaning machine(s) MUST take the appropriate NYSDEC approved 16 hour training course and pass the appropriate exam(s).

The DEC has approved the following three training organizations to offer required 16 hour Perchloroethylene dry cleaner Owner/Manager and machine Operator training courses:
