Inactive Site Remedial Program Fact Sheets
Citizen Participation is crucial to the Department's efforts to remediate abandoned and inactive hazardous waste disposal sites in New York. These fact sheets were developed to provide the public with information about major elements of the State's Superfund program and to help citizens understand how the program works. The fact sheets include:
- Preliminary Site Assessment
- Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study
- Record of Decision
- Remedial Design and Construction
- Interim Remedial Measures
These Fact Sheets were produced by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in cooperation with the New York State Departments of Health and Law.
