Today's businesses have a lot of opportunities to help the environment and save money at the same time. Solid waste management facilities can be certified by this Department if waste is being beneficially used. Once the facility is certified, the material will no longer be considered solid waste and thus be exempted from being governed by the regulations concerning solid waste handling and management.
