Citizen Participation Plan for the Onondaga Lake Bottom Subsite

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and Honeywell are required and committed to informing and involving the public during the upcoming remedial design and construction phases of the Onondaga Lake Bottom Subsite of the Onondaga Lake Superfund Site. The Citizen Participation Plan (CPP) (19 page PDF, 1.04 MB) provides a formal, yet flexible plan for communication with the public during the remediation of the Onondaga Lake bottom.

The Citizen Participation Plan briefly describes the site and remediation program, and identifies specific community outreach and participation activities. The Citizen Participation Plan for the Onondaga Lake Bottom Subsite Remedial Design Program was developed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation in cooperation with Honeywell and Parsons.
