Construction Stormwater Inspection Manual
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Division of Water (DOW) considers there to be two types of inspections germane to construction stormwater; compliance inspections and self-inspections.
This manual (PDF, 59.7kb) is for use by DOW and other regulatory oversight construction stormwater inspectors in performing compliance inspections, as well as for site operators in performing self inspections. The manual should be used in conjunction with the New York State Standards and Specifications for Erosion and Sediment Control, August 2005.
