DEC Announces Public Meeting on Roosevelt Middle School
SUBJECT: Roosevelt School District Middle School Site Remediation, Hamlet of Roosevelt, Town of Hempstead, Nassau County
PURPOSE: To discuss the completed remediation of the former contamination at the location of the new Roosevelt Middle School. We will discuss the Final Engineering Report, Parts A and B that provides details on the investigation and remediation of the site.
DATE/TIME: August 7, 2008 at 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: New Roosevelt Middle School Auditorium, 335 Clinton Avenue, Roosevelt, New York 11575
DIRECTIONS: From Exit 21 on the Southern State Parkway, proceed south on Nassau Road for about 0.2 miles, turn left on to East Clinton Avenue. The new Roosevelt Middle School is about 1.1 miles on the left hand side of the road.
