Golden hour starts about an hour before sunset every day. The setting sun casts magnificent shadows and bathes the landscape in a bright golden hue. Clouds are set ablaze with reds, oranges, purples and pinks as the sun goes down. Every other week a naturalist will be stationed at a different location on the property that provides a great view as the sun sets. Bring cameras, sketch pads or any other art supplies you would want to capture this experience. While artistic expression is encouraged, it is not necessary. All are welcome to come and enjoy the scenery.

NOTE: Organized groups (scouts, schools, hiking clubs, etc.) are welcome, but are asked to call Five Rivers at 518-475-0291 to register.
