There is incredible beauty in nature, from magnificent birds and mammals to delicate flowers, butterflies and dragonflies; from expansive landscapes to the tiniest insects. But how do we best photograph it?

Suitable for all levels of photographers with a variety of equipment, this workshop covers the basic elements of nature photography including light, composition, and focus.

The first hour of this program will be classroom instruction, followed by a one-hour foray on the grounds of Five Rivers in search of subjects to photograph. Bring your cameras and your questions!

Presented by Scott Stoner and Denise Hackert-Stoner, whose images have been featured in some of our new displays at the visitor center.
