 Bowfishing Carp Season Opens

Any person who has a fishing license or a small game hunting license may take carp by longbow (recurve or compound) during May 15 through September 30 from any water of the state where fishing and the discharge of a bow is permitted. There is no size or possession limit for carp.

 Walk on the Wild Side: Wild Turkey Trail

Join us for a two-mile hike along Five Rivers’ Wild Turkey Trail. The trail extends to the northernmost edge of Five Rivers, skirting a 60-acre field and meandering throughout hardwood forests. We’ll enjoy spring blooms, glimpse wildlife, and watch for signs of wild turkey. Wear comfortable, sturdy footwear.
