DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application for a site known as Huntley Power South Parcel, site ID #C915337. This site is located in the Town of Tonawanda, within the County of Erie, and is located at 3500 River Road. Public comments about the application must be submitted by November 9, 2018.

DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and Draft Remedial Investigation Work Plan for a site known as Rochester Steel Treating Works, site ID #C828210. This site is located in the City of Rochester, within the County of Monroe, and is located at 962, 966 and 972-974 East Main Street.  Public comments about the application and draft work plan must be submitted by November 9, 2018.

The majority of the site is located in the neighborhood of Far Rockaway, within the County of Queens, with a small portion in the Hamlet of Inwood, County of Nassau, and is located on Redfern Avenue. Public comments about the application must be submitted by November 9, 2018.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) applications for two sites located in the neighborhood of Long Island City, within the County of Queens known as:

  • HPS Parcel F, site ID #C241225. This site is located at Center Boulevard between 56th Avenue and 57th Avenue.
  • HPS Parcel G, site ID #C241226. This site is located on 2nd Street.

Public comments about the applications must be submitted by November 9, 2018.
