DEC invites the public to comment about a proposed expedited cleanup of contamination related to the 166 Chandler Street Site (Buffalo, Erie Co.), within New York's Brownfield Cleanup Program. Public comments about the proposal will be accepted through April 7, 2018.

JOHN BURROUGHS: THE MAN, THE LEGEND

Join us for this indoor presentation on John Burroughs (April 3 1837 - March 29, 1921). He was born in the Catskills and was a naturalist and nature essayist, and was active in the U.S. conservation movement.

NOTE: Organized groups (scouts, schools, hiking clubs, etc.) are welcome, but are asked to call Five Rivers at 518-475-0291 to register.

Project categories will include grants for planting, maintenance, education programs, tree inventories and forestry management plans. Space is limited, call Mary Kramarchyk to reserve a seat.
