NYSDEC will host a public availability session to provide information on a recently completed habitat management plan for Harwood Lake Multiple Use Area (MUA) located in the town of Farmersville, Cattaraugus County.

Come join us to learn about the goals of the plan and future management at this MUA. The meeting will include a presentation and time for questions. An open house will begin at 6:00 and a formal presentation at 6:30.

Public Meeting Location: Kingston Library, 55 Franklin Street, Kingston, NY 12401

DEC invites the public to the meeting to learn about the proposal for no further action at the B. Millens Scrapyard Site (Kingston, Ulster Co.), within New York's State Superfund Program. Public comments also are welcome at the meeting, and during a public comment period that runs through March 14, 2018.

The New York State Department of Conservation (DEC) today announced an informational meeting on the current state of Owasco Lake’s fisheries. DEC encourages the public to attend. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018 at the following address:

Experience Five Rivers’ trails by moonlight. Dress for the weather, and meet at the visitor center for this winter adventure. Space is limited. Call Five Rivers at 518-475-0291 by Monday, February 26 to register. This program will be canceled in the event of inclement weather.

NOTE: We are unable to accommodate organized groups (scouts, schools, hiking clubs, etc.) at our public programs. Please call Five Rivers at 518-475-0291 to schedule a separate program for your group.
