New York State has reaffirmed its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 40 percent by 2030 and 80 percent by 2050 (from 1990 levels). Broad, community-level participation is critical in meeting these goals. How can local governments engage their communities and inspire a grassroots response to climate change? This Climate Smart Communities webinar will offer guidance on facilitating inclusive, community-driven planning processes and creating local climate action plans that reflect community priorities.

Attendance at this event is only available online. Please see the URL under "Additional Information" for details on how to use your computer to connect to the webinar.
