DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application for a site known as Kew Gardens Main Street, site ID #C241205. This site is located in the neighborhood of Kew Gardens, within the borough of Queens, and is located at 68-14 to 68-50 Main Street. Comments about the application must be submitted no later than January 5, 2017.

DEC invites the public to comment about draft work plans to investigate and take measures to address contamination related to the 113-117 Clinton North Site (Rochester, Monroe Co.), within New York's Brownfield Cleanup Program. Public comments about the draft plans will be accepted through January 5, 2018.

The theme for the 2018 5th Grade Arbor Day Poster Contest is "Trees for Bees." 5th graders are invited to submit original artwork incorporating this theme to help celebrate Arbor Day.
