As part of Governor Cuomo’s plan to improve the state’s economic development model, the NYS Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) streamlines and expedites the grant application process. It offers a single entry point for access to funding from multiple state agencies for economic development, community revitalization, and environmental improvements.

As part of the 2017 CFA, a series of workshops is offered across the state to provide potential applicants with additional information on individual funding programs offered, as well as an opportunity to ask questions and discuss project ideas with program representatives. Workshops are being held during May and June.

The workshop schedule is available here: https://regionalcouncils.ny.gov/genericcfa/2017-cfa-workshops.

NYSDEC is offering the following funding programs through the 2017 CFA:

NYS DEC plans to submit "40 CFR 51.1205(b) Report; Erie and Niagara Counties; Sulfur Dioxide; 2010 National Ambient Air Quality Standard" to US EPA by July 1, 2017. This proposed report satisfies the requirements of 40 CFR 51.1205(b) by demonstrating that Erie and Niagara Counties continue to attain the 2010 SO2 NAAQS and recommends that no additional modeling is needed.

This proposed report can be found on the NYS DEC public website.

Written comments should be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on June 26, 2017.  To request a hard copy, or with questions, please use the contact information above.
