Take a break from the blistering summer sun and try some cool, evening fishing. Geared to families, basic instruction focuses on fish identification, techniques, regulations and stewardship practices. Open fishing to follow.

I FISH NY-LI provides loaner rods and free bait at every event.

From the East: Take 495 to exit 60 Ronkonkoma Avenue. Continue on service road until Pond Road. Make a right onto Pond Rd/Lake Shore Rd. Follow about 1.3 miles; make a left into the Park.

From the West: Take 495 to exit 59 Ocean Avenue. Follow service road to second light. Make a left onto Pond Road/Lake Shore Rd. Follow about 1.3 miles; make a left into the Park.

Introduction to the thrush family — how many varieties do we have at Reinstein Woods? Learn to identify them by sight and sound, as we walk through the Woods. Bring field guides and binoculars, if you have them. Registration required; call 716-683-5959 to sign up.
