DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and a Remedial Investigation Work Plan from Bridge Land Vestry LLC for a site known as the 268 West Street, site ID #C231089. This site is located in the City of New York, in the Borough of Manhattan, within the County of New York, and is located at 268 West Street. Comments regarding the application must be submitted no later than May 23, 2014. Click link at "Additional Information" above to learn how to comment.

Come learn all about turtles up close and personal as we celebrate World Turtle Day. Turtle expert Dee Strnisa, who will have live turtles with her, will conduct an indoor overview of turtle natural history and the conservation challenges turtles face today. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
