DEC invites public comment about a draft plan to investigate contamination related to the Young Coal & Lumber Site (White Plains, Westchester Co.), within New York's Brownfield Cleanup Program. DEC is accepting public comments about the proposal through May 12, 2014.

This session will be held at Ulster County Community College Student Lounge, 491 Cottekill Rd, Stone Ridge, NY. The EIS will evaluate the potential for significant adverse environmental impacts to occur from implementation of the turbidity control measures proposed to be incorporated into the Catalum SPDES Permit (Turbidity Control Measures), as well as from the postponement of dredging in the Kensico Reservoir.
