DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and Draft Remedial Investigation Work Plan from Ganesh Management, LLC for a site known as the Former Union Wire Die Corp., site ID #C241163. This site is located in Long Island City, within the County of Queens, and is located at 39-40 30th Street. If you have participated in a Project WILD workshop and would like to present training workshops for others, this is the workshop for you. During this two-day train-the-trainer program, participants will learn how to present Project WILD and Aquatic WILD workshops to groups of educators. Registrants must participate for the entire time on both days to complete the program successfully. The program is free, but space is limited. Call Five Rivers at 518-475-0291 by Friday, May 2 to register.
