DEC has extended the public comment period for the Draft Kushaqua Tract Conservation Easement Lands Recreation Management Plan. The plan was developed to facilitate and manage public recreational use of the easement lands.

DEC invites public comment about a proposal for "no further action" related to the Kingsbury Landfill Site (Kingsbury, Washington Co.), within New York's State Superfund Program. Comments about the proposal will be accepted through March 28, 2014.

A public meeting also will be held about the proposal: March 18, 2014 at 7:00pm at the Kingsbury Town Hall, 210 Main Street, Hudson Falls, NY 12839.

DEC has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and Draft Remedial Investigation Work Plan from The Wills Group Family Limited Partnership for a site known as The Wills Building, site ID #C241143. This site is located in Long Island City, within the County of Queens, and is located at 43-01 21st Street. Comments regarding the application must be submitted no later than March 28, 2014.
