DEC invites public comment about the amended remedy being proposed to address contamination related to the LAPP Insulator Company Site (LeRoy, Genesee County), within New York's State Superfund Program. Comments about the proposal will be accepted through March 12, 2014.

A public meeting also will be held: March 4 from 6pm to 8pm at the Village of LeRoy Village Hall, 3 West Main  St., LeRoy, NY 14482.

DEC invites public comment about "no further action" being proposed related to the Utica St./Hamilton Site (Hamilton, Madison County), within New York's Environmental Restoration Program. Comments about the proposal will be accepted through March 12, 2014.

A public meeting also will be held: February 25, 2014 at 6pm at the Village of Hamilton Public Library, 13 Broad Street, Hamilton, NY 13346.

The public is invited to the meeting to learn about the remedy being proposed by DEC to address contamination related to the Former Paragon Oil Terminal & Apollo Street Creek Parcels (Brooklyn), within New York's Petroleum Remediation program. (Presentation and Q&A at 7:00pm.) Public comments also are welcome at the meeting, and during a public comment period that runs through March 30, 2014.

Because of inclement weather, the public meeting scheduled for March 12, 2014 about the proposed cleanup of the Former Doro Dry Cleaners Site has been cancelled. The meeting has been rescheduled as follows:

Date and Time: Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 6:30pm.

Public Meeting Location: Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 4125 Union Road, Cheektowaga, NY.

The public is invited to the meeting to learn about the remedy being proposed by DEC to address contamination related to the Former Doro Dry Cleaners Site (Cheektowaga, Erie Co.), within New York's State Superfund Program. Public comments also are welcome at the meeting, and during a public comment period that runs through March 28, 2014.
